School is officially out but our teachers are still hard at work writing the elementary math curriculum and learning about our new secondary math program that will be implemented in the fall.

The SHS students and staff evacuated the building this morning for a short time due to an odor observed. The fire and school departments worked together to determine the source of the odor, an exhaust fan with a faulty belt, and remedy the situation. Thanks @SmithfieldFire !
SHS Teacher Preparation CTE Pathway includes real teaching experiences for students. Preschool students participating in the playschool program "graduated" to the delight of their parents and aspiring teachers alike.
