Hello OCRS families,
All six Smithfield schools are planning our own online Family Forums in the next week or so to provide an opportunity for principals to provide school specific information to our students' families and to allow families to ask questions. We know that it has been challenging for families to make plans for the beginning of the school year due to the fact that information from the Governor, R.I. Department of Health, and R.I. Department of Education continues to change. We want to do everything we can to share the latest information we have with all of our families.
The OCRS online Family Forum is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19th at 7:00 p.m. More details about the forum and a link will be sent out by Monday, but I wanted to get the date and time out to OCRS families as soon as possible. If you are unable to attend the forum live, it will be recorded and posted for all families. There will also be a way for families to submit questions ahead of time that they would like to have discussed.
